How Did Celtic Crosses From The History Books Originate?

What are Celtic crosses and where did they come from? As a matter of fact, where are they now and can I get one? These are all questions that deserve the best answer we can come up with.

What were the Celtic crosses?

Imagine a cross with a circle surrounding the center post where the vertical and horizontal pieces cross. Then, imagine that there are carvings of animals and ornamentation on just about every surface in a very beautiful display of nature, man and the existence of God all on one piece of stone, metal or other carved surface. There are many legends about where they came from, originally, and who designed and carved the first one.

Where did these Celtic crosses come from?

There are many that have said that it must have been Saint Patrick in an attempt to convert something that was a heathen symbol into a Christian symbol; others hold that it must be the Druids. This thought holds that the Druids carved this symbol as a part of their worship of the four directions (North, East, West and South) or the four seasons (Spring, Summer, Fall & Winter) the Sun and/or the Moon was represented by the circle in the middle. The Celtic crosses, themselves, are not telling us.

A lot has been said about how Saint Patrick is to be credited with this very beautiful expression of faith. It is said that he found a circle carved in a stone and he carved a cross around it to somehow “sanctify” this obvious depiction of the sun and the area residents’ worship of it. St. Patrick was always trying to convert pagan ideas into his stories of Christianity to convert those interested in these crude things.

Bracelets That Allow You To Be Unique

The Nomination brand started in Italy, the bracelet was first designed by Paulo Gensini. His brothers got involved and began to develop the jewellery, they called themselves ‘G4′ because of their last name Gensini, and the fact that there are four of them. The most popular Nomination products that they designed are the charms, this is because they appeal to people of all ages and they’re suitable for both men and women.

There are lots of different charms and they’ve available in a plethora of different materials, including enamel, crystal, silver, stone and gold. The range in materials means that they can fit in with any social situation including both formal and informal, which is ideal when searching for the perfect piece of jewellery. Nomination charm bracelets are different to normal charm bracelets as the structure is not the same. Instead of having charms that fit on to an already existing bracelet, it’s the charms that link together to form the bracelet.

It’s common for people to choose charms that represent something to them personally; this could be a milestone, a memory, a person, an animal, a belief or a religion. People tend to use their charm bracelet as a representation of their life and aspects of it. The charms are available in lots of different styles including animals, letters, numbers, life, fun, love, luck, nature, peace, religion, sport, leisure, symbols, technology, world sites and fantasy.

There are so many different types of charms to choose from that narrowing it down to just a select few to fit on your bracelet seems impossible for some people! It’s common for people to end up with several nomination bracelets so that they can include all of their favourite charms. If you have multiple bracelets, you can join them together to create a cuff effect. As there are numerous charms, the likelihood that you will have the exact same charm bracelet as somebody else is very slim and you probably will not have the same combination of charms as them. This means that you will be very unique, different and stand out from the crowd.

Why a Fendi Watch Is a Must Have for Men

Fendi watches for men have come a long way in terms of design from original timepieces of ages old. It was in the 16th century when watches were invented and formally released to the public as a means to tell the time. From a simple round form called Nuremberg eggs, watches were shaped into different forms to reflect architectural designs, ornamental structures, and religious symbols. Precious stones and gems were also added, making watches associated as a ladies’ fashion accessory.

Despite the fact that watches are labeled as women’s items, especially the wristlet types, gentlemen still have a need to use watches. Before wristwatches, men settled for the pocket watch which has a chain tied to it so it can be kept inside a jacket pocket. Not until World War I did soldiers find it inconvenient to reach into their pocket just to look at the time in the middle of battle. Wristwatches were modified with more masculine features to match the army man’s need.

In 1900, an aviator asked his friend Louis Cartier, a famous jeweler, to create a time piece that was easier to look at, especially when navigating flights. The Santos wristwatch was then created, named after the aviator Alberto Santos Dumont. It was indeed a more convenient timepiece, which eventually made the pocket, watch completely obsolete and began the line of luxury watches.

There are lot of men’s watches available today that vary in use, type, function, brand and price. One of the most acclaimed signature watches for men is the Fendi watch. Most of their watches fall under the dress type of watch because of their classic look, timeless features and renowned brand. They are watches perfect for corporate affairs and business events.

Fendi watches, however, are not just limited to corporate purposes. They offer a lot of models to suit many occasions. Fendi watches have Swiss quartz movement, which is a high tech watch movement ignited by an electrical passage on the quartz. The watches are also water resistant up to a maximum depth of 50 feet.

The designs and styles of Fendi watches are elegant and exclusive. The straps, frames and cases are made with authentic leather and metals like silver and gold, or even ceramic. Embellishments like sapphires and diamonds are also used to create a luxurious timepiece for men.
